Hello everyone I’m still working on my house.Things are going slow but i have to get use to that now days.But of course i started out on one room now Ive chosen to do my living room and all the ceilings in the house lol.
I have somethings on my mind and i just got to write them when i do.Ive been thinking of when i first got saved…people here referee to salvation in this term.When i first came to know God is what I’m talking about.
I was born in the church but i came to know God for myself when i was 13.When i first got saved It was something going on all the time between me and God.Ill never forget how prayer was so real to me really like a personal conversation between me and God.Mama would say Fancy you been talking to God honey and i would say yes Mama she would smile from ear to ear.
God was always showing me things and i learned about receiving the holy ghost.You see i just had to have more of God and i knew there was more of God it seemed .And i wanted the Holy Ghost more then anything.But i prayed and nothing happened so i was worried and concerned about it.I just couldn’t understand why i wasn’t getting the Holy Ghost. I prayed for understanding from God.But i couldn’t get an answer it seemed.
The desire grew no matter what i thought.God was teaching me about prayer and faith so i see now it was all in Gods time not mine lol.He knew as a baby in him i had to grow up right or i wouldn’t be what i needed to be.Imagine a baby in these terms and you’ll understand what i mean.A baby Christan has to grow in stages to.
One night about 3 months after i got saved we were having a revival at church and it sure was a good one God was saving people left and right and we were having visitors from all around so we had some good singing in this revival. Me and Mama were singing and i felt the need to go to the alter so i just went and while i was praying i received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.I could sense others all around me and the church just went up with praise and worship!It seemed like i was the happiest person in the world and i laughted and laughted God gave me the Holy Ghost and Joy with it.For days on end i couldnt speak a word in english and was in this world but more with God in the spirit.
I know some of you’ll wont know what I’m talking about but i just had to share this with you’ll anyway.
God has shown me through the years sometimes waiting is hard but well worth the wait.So if any of you’ll feel like you’ve waited to long for some answers to problems just remember God knows best and in his time the answers will come.And everything is best in Gods timing!
Ill be around to visit soon i promice.
