  • ~Shelterd in God’s arm’s~

When my soul was disturbed with sorrow
When My heart was burdened with sin
Jesus opened His arms of mercy
    And tenderly took me in

There is peace in the time of trouble
There is peace in the midst of a storm
There is peace though the world be raging
In the shelter of His arms

There are storms that we all encounter
Do not fear they will do you no harm
In the Lord you will find protection
In the shelter of His arms

There is peace though the world be raging
In the shelter of His arms!

This is a song ive sang in Church all my life but this morning i was waken up hearing it just  like it was being sang to me.These are the times when i know God is with me even when i am sleeping as well as when im awake!  How wonderful to have God allow these moments ! I thought i would share it with you’ll it’s my hearts desire that you would all feel the “Shelter of his arms”

From the “Heart of Fancy” with Love.

  • Hello everyone…yep it’s Monday and everyday seems the same to me now that im not working outside the home.Ive decided when Joshua leaves for Iraq to open up my home office again and go back to work.Makes sense doesnt it lol!

We have had so much rain and i have a problem the glass enclosure for my pool house  looks awful the glass in holding moisture between the panes and it looks awful. So im taking it down and inclosing it with screen. I like the screen better anyway and it is going to be a big job ! How do i get myself into these things lol.

I hope you’ll had a good weekend im moving a flower bed if it ever stops raining and the ground drys up again. We have a rain storm everyday lately. Is this blackberry winter? I think it is but i havent seen any blooms yet have you’ll.

I’ll share them when they do.I couldnt love Joshua more then if i brought him into the world myself. Not being able to bare children had been one heartache i will never get over. But when i hear Joshua say Mama i just feel up with love and pride. So i didnt miss knowing that love.He is doing well and doesnt seem worried about things …oh to be young lol.

  • “Let Us Pray”

It is a sound which has echoed down the centuries but which has not been heard here for 15 years – the wailing call to prayer.

God, Bless America And All With Her!

God, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts
they perform for us in our time of need.
    Amen

Please stop for a moment and say
a prayer for our troops in Iraq, and around the world.

    From the heart of Fancy

This morning when i went to prayer all i could do was cry and praise God.I know God is in control and it’s most important for his will to be done.I prayed for the troops knowing someone will die today for what we are there for “bringing freedom to the Iraqi people” but i know God can hold them all in his hands and as long as they never forget the God who really holds there life there safe no matter what happens !

The enemy doesnt hold there life in his hands Our God does!! So there safe no matter what happens today. “Safe in the arms of God”

So dont forget to pray but also thank God for he is still in control no matter what the enemy say’s.

God spoke to my heart yes Joshua is going to Iraq but no matter where Joshua is at , he is in God’s hands.I taught Joshua about God and the power and need for prayer and praise. So i feel better today.God has promiced me Joshua is safe from the enemy ! The real enemy of the soul …Satan has no control or hold on Joshua. And i must trust God with everything ” even Joshua” God wants us to trust him today as never before.I think i  knew all along God is trying to get me to let go of my fears and trust him … and i do!

    ~From my heart love fancy~

    A Child’s Garden

    I planted myself a garden,
    A garden of the heart,
I planted all the good things,
That gave my children a head-start.

I turned them to the sunshine,
    And encouraged them to dream,
    Fostering and nurturing
    The seeds of self-esteem…

And when the winds and rain came,
    I protected them enough–
But not too much because I knew,
They’d need to stand up strong and tough.

I tried to set a good example,
Always taught them right from wrong–
    Markers for their journey,
That will last a lifetime long.

I am from my Mother’s garden,
    I am her legacy-
And I hope that someday too…
My children will reflect the same of me.

  •  Good morning to everyone! I feel tired but i slept 6 hours go figure.

I have to stay focused and prayed up !!!! I know i need all the faith i can get.Im concerned as anyone would be.Iraq is no play ground as we hear on the news. But i trust God to keep Joshua safe and to keep me calm as can be expected.

I wish Desi and the baby  would move back here while Joshua is away I guess i have no say in that though. Hey im gonna get outta here and go to bed ill visit everyone tomorrow ok.

Love you all a bunch, Fancy

  • The Colors of The World

    Once upon a time
the colors of the world started to quarrel.
    All claimed that they were the best;
    the most important,
    the most useful,
    the favorite

    GREEN said:
“Clearly I am the most important.I am the sign of life
& of hope.I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves.
Without me, all animals would die. Look over the
countryside and you will see that I am in the majority

    BLUE interrupted:
“You only think about the earth, but consider the sky & the sea.
It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the
clouds from the deep sea.The sky gives space and peace and
serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing.”

    YELLOW chuckled:
“You are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety, and warmth
into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow,
the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a sunflower,
the whole world starts to smile.Without me there would be no fun.”

ORANGE started next to blow her trumpet:
“I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce,
but I am precious for I serve the needs of human life.
I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots,
    pumpkins, oranges, mangoes, and papayas.
I don’t hang around all the time, but when I fill the
sky at sunrise or sunset,my beauty is so striking that
no one gives another thought to any of you.”

RED could stand it no longer, he shouted out:
“I am the ruler of all of you. I am blood – life’s blood!
I bring fire into the blood.I`m willing to fight for a cause
I am the color of danger and of bravery. Without me, the
earth would be as empty as the moon.I am the color of passion
and of love, the red rose, the poinsettia and the poppy.”

Finally INDIGO spoke, much more quietly than all the others,
but with just as much determination: “Think of me. I am the
color of silence. You hardly notice me, but without me you
all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection,
twilight and deep water. You need me for balance and contrast,
    for prayer and inner peace.”

So the colors went on boasting,
each convinced of his or her own superiority.
Their quarreling became louder and louder.
Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening.
Thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly.
The colors crouched down in fear,
drawing close to one another for comfort.
In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak: “You foolish colors,
fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest.
Don’t you know that you were each made for a special purpose,
    unique and different?
Join hands with one another and come to me.”

Doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands.

    The rain continued:
“From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across
the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder
that you can all live in peace.
The Rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow.”

And so, whenever a good rain washes the world,
and a Rainbow appears in the sky,
let us remember to appreciate one another.

Can i borrow your rainbow Deej. lol.
