  • Betty’s been thinking again!
The U.N. makes statements that make me so mad i cant see stright. I think the USA should get out of the U.N.
    Down with the U.N.(see below)

    (quote from the U.N.)

U.N.: No Such Thing as Illegal Immigration

    The
United Nations doesn’t recognize the concept of illegal immigration -
and refuses to use that term when referring to foreigners who flout
U.S. immigration laws by crossing the border without documentation.

Legal immigrants, on the other hand, are referred to as “regular migrants,” Shawn said.

    “Basically they want them to
have the same rights as the documented immigrants,” the one-time Fox
street reporter explained. “They say that in [their] convention.”

“[It] protects the human rights, they say, of the migrants. It’s been signed by Mexico, not by us.”

Shawn went on to note that the
head of the U.N.’s immigration agency is a Mexican official. “It’s
ironic,” he told O’Reilly, “because Mexico has some of the toughest
    laws against illegal immigration.”

    Asked if official U.N. policy
was to encourage open borders, Shawn told O’Reilly: “Basically, as long
as it’s legal. They’re not for illegal immigration, but they try to
encourage migration as much as possible.”

  • I’ve never in my life thought less of anyone but I tell you here and now I have had it with immigrants and their attidues…..I am happy they are placing a boarder fence and hope it gets bigger and stronger because it’s getting out of hand NO it is out of hand.  Having them here is one thing having them tell us they built America, own American is going too far and then demanding they be paid higher wage’s well don’t we all want higher wage’s????  Of coarse we do but we don’t demand it we work for it.  Seems to be the majority want to take over you just can’t help people anymore they end up demanding and demanding and feel they have power.  I agree with you fancy 100% and it does make one mad….U.N . hum bug>  Shirley

  • Glad to see you are still around. Have a great weekend and know that you are loved!

  • lo!! how are they going to control immigration in hawaii?!  we’re surrounded by water.  each and every island.  also, much of our population at one time or another were immigrants.  we here those filipino people who’re sponsored to come to america, apply for citizenship and social security and other benefits.  unlike the american citizens these people send their monies and whatever else back to their homeland.  after being eligible for social security benefits, they go back to live in their homeland with our money.  american money!  they think they’re smart too! speak in their native language when they should be speaking english.  they wonder why we english speaking people don’t like them.  geez!!  anyways, you have a great weekend and enjoy them little ones … pics are so cute!! aloha

  • oh boy I do agree with you!  My grand father came to america thru Eliss Island and he had to learn  english when he came from Portugal.  And he paid his taxes.  I should not have to know another languafe to comunicate with any ne they should know my language.  I noticed something the other day while sopping and reading labels, they are in English and Spanish.  Something wrong with that picture if you ask me.  Any way Sweetie have a wonderful weekend.  I dont want to blog on your blog.  HUGS

    ((((HUGS)))))

  • Have a nice weekend.

  • People who try to get things done through illegal means should not have those same rights as legitimate persons. I agree with you, the UN is wrong on this issue.
