Drinking from my  saucer

I’ve never made a fortune,
and it’s probably too late now.
But I don’t worry about that much,
I’m happy anyhow.

And as I go along life’s way,
I’m reaping better than I sowed.
I’m drinking from my saucer,
‘Cause my cup has overflowed.

Haven’t got a lot of riches,
and sometimes the going’s tough.
But I’ve got loving ones around me,
and that makes me rich enough.

I thank God for his blessings,
and the mercies He’s bestowed.
I’m drinking from my saucer,

O, Remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke,
and sun peeped through again.

So Lord, help me not to gripe,
about the tough rows that I’ve hoed.
I’m drinking from my saucer,

If God gives me strength and courage,
When the way grows steep and rough.
I’ll not ask for other blessings,
I’m already blessed enough.

And may I never be too busy,
to help others bear their loads.

My name is Granny 

My new name is Granny all my grand childrens friends call me granny and all my brothers to lol.I love it!!Every sense i became a granny.

Thanksgiving was wonderful , the best Thanksgiving in a long time.We laughted and made crafts and looked at pictures and talked and talked. My  grand daughter was such  a great hostess .We made little stockens for her christmas tree lol. Her house is pretty just like a doll house. And clean as a whistel Her and Bit are a perfect match. Betty is vibrent and gun hoe and Bit is a smilie face , always smiling at everything.

Betty is going off to collage  soon … something for me to get use to! I worrie when any of them leave home. I talked to Victoria yesterday and she was a happy little angel. There getting ready for Christmas and excited about it. Katie read me her letter to santa and i enjoyed hearing all that. Brat dolls is really on her list i have to find out what that doll is for sure. One of them she wants is diamond brat!My son must have had the day off to go shopping. yesterday and today Pa ( my husband) is there and there putting down hardwood flooring. I love my family there the best! But my daughter inlaws father (David) needs our prayers he fell and broke his hip. He is having a real hard time please pray for him . And pray for Susie her mother she works a full time job and she is worn out and sick herself please remember her in your prayers. well i have to get up from here and get ready for the beauty shop. Im slow today. I miss josh and desie and my babies there going to grow up with out me. cry cry . I cant get Pa to go down  there to Alabama and i cant drive it alone. Maybe i can get Robbie ( joshua’s mother) to go with me and drive my car when it gets fixed lol.It’s missing and lost timing . Well have a nice day whom ever reads this  i love you. Because God put love in my heart for everyone were all his loving children.But remember most of all God loves you!!!

Passing the torch! This years Thanksgiving will be at my grand daughters home. B.J. is so excited about hosting Thanksgiving dinner.She has a great menu planned and i see her through different eye’s of course. She has grown up and takes the place of the chain that helps to hold us all togeather.

I see where i have left my mark on my family. I trained them well (not bragging on myself) Joshua’s family wont be here but i have the rest of my family here and im very blessed to have them. Planning a Thanksgiving meal for this large a family is a lot of work. And she has it all under control ! B.J has all the baking down pat lol. I was at her house Saturday and she has cakes and pie’s all lined up in the refrigerator.Theres a big fat turkey and a nice ham on the shelf .And she has planned a nice array of breads planned. The rest of us will bring the veggies along. I cant wait i plan on bringing her a nice pot of my mums for an arrangement for the table. Although all of us wont be here this year the rest of us will have a wonderful time together. God bless your families this Thanksgiving and may you all be thankful for all God’s blessings.Im ready to go to Church and exspect all my family there like always and im so blessed i could shout out praises to God. for all his blessings

The Holidays are upon us and ill have a sad one because my babies have moved to Alabama to live and work. They cant come home because there getting into there new house. God help because im so sad. I need God to life me up this year from the saddness.

I see many times of heartaches all of you go thru and i pray for you and think of you all. It’s amazing how we love each other and have never met. But we do and i want you’ll to know i love you and hurt when you hurt and laugh when you are laughing. Fancy

It’s raining here today and cool.Yesterday ‘s battle in court was won by us. My Daughter came out victor.But she is sad over a marriage gone bad. Please remember her in your prayers. Seems like on battle after the other here. But i know God is in control.My daughter has years of therpy to go through and God only can help.

I went visiting over xanga and saw sadness throughout many of my friends sites.But i have seend faith in God through and have found the best friends i could ever know here in Xanga. God bless and keep you all , love Fancy

But please dont forget thank Him for all the things he has done for you. Never swear against His name for He has given us His only Son. Never forget to include God in your lives as busy as it may be. God never forgets you. God IS important.
