Sometimes we need a place to go
Where silence fills us with a glow
So step into this claming scene
Where peacefulness is so serene
Water washing on the shore
Mind and heart will now explore
Silent times that give you rest
These the moments you are blest
Cares they seem to drift away
In this a sacred time of day
World is filled with so much sorrow
But we always have tomorrow
A quiet respite in this place
Your heart and soul can ruminate
Bringing us to gentler times
Where peace and love can all combine.

How many times in your life have you gone to God and sought him with your whole heart for answers?I’ve been there many times indeed.I’ve spent hours on my face before God when i felt like i needed divine intervention.
This isnt lack of faith let me tell you that!!!
And for anyone who judges my seeking God over Joshua and Iraq as the wrong thing to do because others still have to go and others yet are still there are wrong and have never sought the will of God .When that person lays on there face for 8 to 10 hours stright seeking God they will and only then understand. No one knows but God how ive spent hours praying for Those in Iraq and every where serving American ideals. So to the person questioning my recent demise maybe you could spend some time seeking God yourself.
I turned away from most everything not just the computer to seek God and find peace withen.
I remember once when Joshua wanted to go to a party at the lake at graduation.I knew there would be things going on there he didnt need to be around. When he was going no matter what i thought i simply prayed….God stop that car in it’s tracks because he doesnt need to be there at that party.15 min’s later i got a call Mama my car is broken down can you call a tow truck and come get me.Of course i did but not until i thanked God for answering my prayers! When i got there i cranked the car and we drove it home. I told Joshua of my prayer and let me tell you he tells that story with great conviction to others.God answers sincere prayer. And sometimes you have to break thru all the demons that hell has to get a prayer through. But thats my walk with God and he called me to pray and seek him in trying times as well as those not so trying.
Dear xanga friends ill be around to visit soon i have to clean this house today because i let most of my work inside go for working outside .
From the heart of Fancy

true…. i wished my best friend didnt have to go…bt he went…couldnt get out of it….we still need men and women back here defending us in the us. right now if you were to walk down my street to the bay youd look across the water and wonder….where is this navy base…it is empty…all the ships are over there *sigh* makes me wonder whos left to protect us????
i pray everyone makes it back safe and sound! and those left behind…..keep defending us and standing for what you believe in.
Sweetie dont you think for a second that I did not pray day and night that my brother did not have to go. Three different times GOD did answer my prayers and the orders for my brother were called down. The fourth time god needed to change things around a bit. I have that my brother is over there but I am praying with youu that your Joshua does NOT have to go. And, My friend I will continue to pray with you.
I understand the falling on your face before God on behalf of your children. I have been there and done that many times and though one is grown and the other will leave in a year, I am certain I will be on my face with their names on my lips time and time again. God is faithful and I have seen devine protection, favor and miraculous interventions because of those prayers. God Bless the praying mammas.

I think that Mothers have places worn in the carpet or on the floor or the ground for the many times that we end up there on behalf of our kids. It is only natural and God wants to hear our prayers. Joshua is indeed blessed with a praying Mother……a thought that I know brings him great comfort.
I’m doing the same thing that you are doing around the house. I’ve got to get caught up on the inside from the time I’ve spent outside, too.
could you pray for my son, Adam? that he stays outta trouble and studies hard.
thank you, fancy~!

To be religious is to be mindful.
To be mindful is to pay attention.
To pay attention is to sanctify existence.”
